Sport Event

Multi Sport event run annually in March at the Blue Lake in Rotorua.

There are four disciplines:

Swim 300 m
Mountain bike 9km
Run 5km
Kayak 1000m

All disciplines are run in and around the Blue Lake. The MTB leg is off road on forestry tracks and trails.

Categories include:

Solo,
Two-person or
Four person teams.

Trophies and Spot prizes up for grabs, with a meal supplied after the event.

Further Information

This year we are looking at hiring some kayaks from a local outfit 'Sunspots Kayaks' for those who travel to the event and do not have access to one themselves.

Accommodation can be booked at the Rotorua Police Holidays homes, or there are a number of Motels/Hotels available in Rotorua.

Entry fee is $10 per person and this can be subsidised by your local Council of Sport.

The actual date of the event is yet to be confirmed and will be published in the Police Association magazine and on the Bully Board in due course.
