New Zealand Police Sports Awards

Once again we have received a very high calibre of nominee for this year’s sports awards. It is great to see so many highly dedicated and disciplined athletes and officials being recognised by their peers by way of nomination.
The selection process for the Awards is underway but we thought it important that all nominees be recognised.
Congratulations to all of our nominees in their sporting achievements and wish them well for their future endeavours.

Christchurch to host Australasian Games 2012

The New Zealand Police Council of Sport (PCOS) is excited to be hosting the Australasian Police & Emergency Services Games (AP & ES Games) in Christchurch 2012. New Zealand has hosted these Games only twice, both in Wanganui, the latest in 1996.
National Manager of the PCOS Alison Murray has been selected as Games Director responsible for the organisation of these Games.

It’s that time of year again where we are calling for nominations for The New Zealand Police Sports awards.
Within our Police Organisation we have a number of highly successful sports people and administrators and this is your opportunity to give them some of the recognition they deserve.
Some current members have achieved National recognition in their codes and we believe they deserve to be celebrated.
A nomination form can be downloaded off the Police Sports website. We require a completed nomination form and sporting CV , listing all sporting achievements from 1 December 2008 to 30 December 2009.This needs to be forwarded to the National Secretary by the 30th April 2010. read more ...
