On the 11-12 August 2022 the Police Tennis Champs were held in Wellington at the Khandallah Tennis Club and Renouf Centre. Although a small draw of open and social graders it was very competitive with a lot of very close matches over the two days. A move on day one due to weather to the Renouf Centre provided a great opportunity to play in those facilities and the cost of court hire was supported by Police Sport.

Congratulations to our Men and Women’s Singles winners: Liam Hunia from Auckland and WeiWei Verran from Rotorua who also teamed up to take out the Open Doubles (pictured above with Mark Osbourne). The Social Singles winner was Mike Whyte (Rotorua) with Social Doubles also going Rotorua’s way in the hands of Lehi Hohaia and George Staunton.
